Teatro del Silenzio – 22 & 24 July 2027
In 2006, the world-famous tenor Andrea Bocelli opened his “Teatro del Silenzio” in Lajatico, a small village a good 30 kilometres from the “Tenuta delle Rose”. Translated, the name means “Theatre of Silence”, because music is heard there only once a year – for the rest of the year, it is silent.
In summer 2027, you can see Andrea Bocelli live twice at the 22nd edition: on Thursday, 22 July, and on Saturday, 24 July, each time at 8:30 pm. But the impressive open-air amphitheatre is also well worth a visit on every other day of the year.
