100 Years of the Mille Miglia · 24 – 29 May 2027
For many, it is the most beautiful motor race in the world: the Mille Miglia. Covering „Mille Miglia“, in other words just under 1,000 miles (1,600 kilometres), the route runs from Brescia and Lake Garda all the way to Rome and back. With a few exceptions, only classic cars built between 1927 and 1957 are eligible to take part.
In 2027 the Mille Miglia celebrates its 100th birthday: to mark the anniversary of the first race in 1927, it will exceptionally last six days instead of five, from 24 to 29 May, and will once again run the circuit anticlockwise, just as its founders laid it out. On Wednesday, 26 May, the route leads from Florence through the Chianti via Arezzo and Siena to the halfway point in Rome – and Siena is only around an hour’s drive from the Tenuta delle Rose! We have captured a few impressions for you. Why not take a look here.
