Mercantia Certaldo: Festival internazionale del teatro di strada · July 2027
An international street art festival, renowned for its innovative and highly acclaimed theatre performances and street artists from all over the world. Watch as the lanes of Certaldo Alto, picturesquely perched on a hilltop, are transformed into a live stage: dance theatre on one corner, ballet on the next, and classical music and spoken drama on the one after that. There is a market with all manner of culinary delicacies and, just a few metres further on, stalls selling antiques. A feast for all the senses!
In 2027 Mercantia will take place for the 39th time, expected in mid-July.
